Hello,

Someone would he had this problem? And his solution?

Blue screen with error code BAD_POOL_HEADER after formatting  a CD-RW or DVD-RW.
Error code STOP: 0x00000019 (0x00000020, 0x88A57070, 0x88A57088, 0x1A030001)


I have a ThinkCentre A51p

My reader / writer CD-ROM home crashed. Irreparable I bought to replace a LENOVO Super MultiBurner Drive Serial ATA which allowed me to burn CD-RW and DVD-RW. He has worked for some time.

Then one day I loaded a DVD-RW disc and I asked the formatting.
At the end of formatting I got the blue screen with error code above. This was the same for CD-RW.

As the drive was under warranty I returned to the supplier. This finding nothing made me an exchange standard reader-writer
I got back on my PC, unfortunately the failure subsist.

However, I can say that the player normally reads and writes all CD-RW or DVD-RW that was formatted previously.
I tested the PC with PC-Doctor nothing seems faulty.

I am completely in the fog. Can anyone help me find the solution to my problem?

Nobody has a solution to propose me?

I found nothing on the site LENOVO. The supplier of the reader / writer tells me it works well for him.

This is a known problem .There is no proper solution for this in microsoft support.The only thing you can do is use another program like nero.

Can I get this program from LENOVO Support ?

You must check for it..If you are using think vantage system update see whether it pulls in updates for sonic.Microsoft acknowledges that this a known issue..If you dont want to get further BSOD's its better to stop using this program

sorry, I forgot to tell you that I already uninstalled and Sonic RecordNow.

I installed with InterVideo WinDVD disk that came with my new burner LENOVO Super MultiBurner Drive Serial ATA. First I used Sonic RecordNow. Then I used InterVideo WinDVD with RecordNow installed. Finally I tested InterVideo WinDVD Sonic uninstalled.
I regularly use ThinkVantage System Update. No updates do I proposed by System Update.

What is BSOD ?

Hello,
Other information, I thought for a moment that the DLA program could be the cause. I uninstalled and then reinstalled.
This was not the cause.

Hello

Since it seems that only the formatting of CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive causes blue screen error.
Would it not an issue with the DOS format?
