Battery issues

Hi,

i have an R61 15.4 inch machine.

recently i've noticed that my battery is dying. it's down to about 60% of it's original capacity, and only hold my machine for about an hour.

I started searching for a new one and discoverd that an original will cost me about 200$, while a compatible non-original will cost about 50$.

i also noticed that not all battaries have the exact same specs, as mine works on 4800 mAh, the new ones work on 4400 or 5600.

what battery sould i but? an expensive original (the one i have is 1.5 years old. that means she dies pretty quickly)? or a chip compatible?

and is there a ultrababy-slim-battery that fits the optic drive that's not original?

thanks!

before buying go into power manager check battery health you might just need to do a battery gage reset  the "compatible " battery can cause damage to your thinkpad
