X200 + Win7 32bit WWAN device missing.

Hi All and thanks for reading.

I've just had delivery of a new X200 with the vodafone 3G card inside.

I've put in a sim card and checked that its in the correct orientation.

However if i hit Fn+F5 the WWAN doesnt show inside.

It also doesnt show in device manager, ive tried all the usual reboot with and without wireless switch on but all to no avail.

Can anyone advise please.?

On my X301 which suffered the same, I went into BIOS and hit F9 (factory defaults).  This was as advised by Lenovo support.  The device immediately appeared on reboot.  It may be worth checking that you have the latest BIOS too

Re: X200 + Win7 32bit WWAN device missing.

Hello, now I have managed it - everything works now well. I made a Vista Recovery back to the X200. Then I uninstalled everything what "Windows 7 advisor" said to uninstall + Ericcson drivers. Now I upgraded to Windows 7 and made all Updates - From Lenovo and Windows Update. Everything works well now - this replay comes now over Boardband :-) Best regards Marti
